USPS's New Letter Image Service is Free, Receive Daily Notifications

This is a PSA. As much as we enjoy opening up our musky mailboxes only to be bombarded with credit card offers, dental reminder postcards, insurance statements, and an occasional greeting card, USPS has stepped up their game. In this era of instant satisfaction, it is somewhat gratifying to see images of the physical letters being delivered day-to-day from the comfort of my office chair. The service also includes notifications of package deliveries, although images are not available yet, it details sender and tracking information. This allows me to answer that age old question... should I trek out to the mailbox.

If you want to see if USPS's Informed Delivery service is available in your area, go here and type in your zip code.

Side note, to opt out of prescreened unsolicited mail, calls, and emails, go on to the FTC's (Federal Trade Commision) Consumer Information webpage.
